Fun on the road

The picture of my mom and me was taken at highest point in Texas(8,000 ft, higher than I would have thought). The other picture is at the
Rio Grande, so the canyon wall behind me is Mexico (illegal border crossing, anyone?).

Just getting started. . .

Well this is my first foray into blogging and it seems easy enough (at least at the moment). Hopefully this will work down in Ecuador. Only a week and a half till I head to DC for the training, and two weeks until I fly down to Ecuador! I'm excited that I'll finally be able to feel my extremities when I walk outside. There isn't that much to say at the moment as I'm just bumming around Deerfield and studying Spanish, so I probably won't post anything till I start traveling. Hasta luego!
